- 1). Remove the screws from the battery cover located on the underside of the solar panel using a screwdriver.
- 2). Remove the old battery or batteries. If the unit requires two batteries, take note of how the positive and negative ends of the batteries are aligned.
- 3). Install the replacement batteries.
- 4). Set the battery compartment cover back in place.
- 5). Reinstall the screws into the holes in the battery compartment cover.
