- 1). Water Salvia seedlings very sparingly, as this plant is drought tolerant and will actually suffer if given too much water.
- 2). Water the seedlings slow, long and deeply once, if there has not been any rainfall during a period of a month.
- 3). Apply water with low pressure, so as to water gently and not wash away the fragile and shallow rooted seedlings.
- 4). Use a fine mist from a low pressure nozzle to water brand-new seedlings that are particularly susceptible to being washed away.
