Hi! My name is Dan and I¡¯m here with Expert Village. Today we¡¯re going to talk about how to tie an anchor hitch. Take the end of your line, pass it through a steel loop, wrap around twice, and with your tail, feed through the loop and make it off with a half hitch. It¡¯s a self tightening knot, and it¡¯s very strong: it¡¯s used for mooring boats, hence anchor hitch. I¡¯ll tie it one more time¡­take your tail, feed it through your loop, feed it through one more time, then wrap around and through, an anchor hitch.
