- 1). Get the ice cream container from you local frozen treat shop. Just go at closing time and ask if they have any extras that they would give you. You could also use a sturdy cardboard box if you cannot get the ice cream tub. Thoroughly wash the container before use.
- 2). Cut the top and bottom from the 5-gallon ice cream tub. You will have a large tube shape.
- 3). Lightly spray the exterior of the ice cream tub with the spray bottle of water.
- 4). Cover both the back of the carpeting and the outside of the ice cream tub with lines of Gorilla glue.
- 5). Wrap the carpeting around the ice cream tub to completely cover it.
- 6). Clamp the ends of the carpeting down to the tub for 12 to 24 hours to let the glue dry.
- 7). When the glue is dry, test the carpet to ensure that it holds. Then give the condo to your cat and watch him have fun scratching his claws and hiding in his new house.
