We adopted Salem in 2006 from a shelter. He is our alpha male who is smarter than any other cat I've ever seen. He loves to play; in fact, we'll wake up in the morning with a bed full of toys. Apparently, he doesn't understand that "sleep" (or "shower", or "cooking", or...) means "we can't play right now"! My favorite part of him is his beautiful, soft and shiny black fur.
