- 1). Obtain the Book of Mudora and the Master Sword. These two items are integral to beating the game. You will have found them well before you need to use them to get the Ether Medallion simply by following the game's story line.
- 2). Visit the top of Death Mountain, where the Tower of Gannon is in the Dark World. This is the same place where the Tower of Hera is located when you are in the Light World.
- 3). Follow the small bridge to the left of the tower. You will come to a large green Hylian block when you reach the end of the bridge.
- 4). Use the Book of Mudora to decipher the writing on the block. If you are in possession of the Master Sword, this will allow you to get the Ether Medallion.
