- 1). Open Firefox by double-clicking its application shortcut.
- 2). Click the "Tools" menu, and then click the "Options" link from the menu.
- 3). Click the "Advanced" icon, and then click the "Network" tab. Click the "Settings" button.
- 4). Click the "Manual Proxy Configuration" radio button. Type one of the proxy addresses (see Resources) in the "HTTP Proxy" box. Type the port address (see Resources) in the "Port" box. Click the "Use this proxy server for all protocols" check box.
- 5). Click the "OK" button to finish the process and restart Firefox.
- 1). Open Internet Explorer by double-clicking its application shortcut.
- 2). Click the "Tools" menu, and then click the "Internet Options" link. The "Internet Options" dialog box displays on the screen.
- 3). Click the "Connections" tab, and then click the "LAN Settings" button.
- 4). Click the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" check box. Type a proxy address inside the "Address:" box, and then include a port address (see Resources).
- 5). Click the "OK" button on both dialog boxes to apply the changes and restart Internet Explorer.
