- 1). Write an opening line to your invitation that formally invites guests to the birthday party. Incorporate the tea party theme into this text. For example, the first line of your invitation can say: "It's Tea Time! Join us for Nicole's 8th Birthday Party!" The key items you want to include here are the guest of honor's name and the party type.
- 2). Provide the date and time of the tea party. Again, you can incorporate tea party terminology here. Rather than simply listing the date and time, your invitation can say: "Saturday, April 14 at High Noon."
- 3). List the location of the tea party. Whether you are holding it in your home or at a local tea room, you want to include both the name and address of the location. For example, the invitation can state: "Meadows Tea Room, 55 High Street, Lexington, Kentucky."
- 4). Ask guests to RSVP. You will want a headcount for your party so that you know how many teacups and food you will need. Again, you can add tea-themed wording to this part of your invitation; for example: "Please let us know if you will be sipping tea with us by April 2. Contact Renee at 555-2871."
