- 1). Inspect the way the belt wraps the pulleys, if it is still on and not broken. Draw a diagram if the diagram sticker is worn and not readable.
- 2). Loosen the tensioner. If the belt is still wrapped, this will make it easier to remove. Remove the old belt.
- 3). Place the new belt over the pulleys in the correct order and direction according to the diagram. The ridged side of the belt should be on the "bottom." Tighten the tensioner with a socket-wrench.
