- 1). Open the fuse panel cover under the steering column in the driver side, foot well by pulling down on it with your fingers.
- 2). Pull the fuse for the headlights using the fuse pullers in the fuse panel. Use the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse panel cover to locate the fuse for the headlights.
- 3). Check the fuse. If it's blown, replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same amperage.
- 4). Open the hood and inspect the housing assembly. If the housing is cracked or there is excessive moisture or water inside the assembly, you will need to replace the housing with a new one.
- 5). Inspect the headlight. If the filament is broken, replace the headlight with a new headlight.
- 6). Inspect the headlight wiring. If the wiring is frayed, have it serviced by a professional mechanic.
