- 1). Launch FlashGet by clicking on its shortcut in the "All Programs" section of your Windows "Start" menu.
- 2). Click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the window.
- 3). Select the "Speed Limit Mode" option. You can then choose between three different speed options: unlimited, manual or automatic. The unlimited option is the default option, and lets FlashGet use as much bandwidth as it needs. The manual option lets you specify the maximum bandwidth which FlashGet can use. Finally, the automatic option allows FlashGet to use most of the available outbound bandwidth, leaving a portion of that bandwidth available to other programs.
