Article marketing is one of the most popular online marketing tools today.
So much so that article directories and e-zines are brimming with lots of articles that cover a wide variety of topics.
More and more people see this online tool as an effective way to promote their products, services, or websites.
Do you want to take advantage of article marketing to drive traffic to your website? To create a great article for submission to directories, you need to learn first how to write a compelling title.
The title is the first thing that readers see when they view your article, so it must tell what you have to offer as quickly as possible.
The first three to four words must inform readers the gist of your article.
Because article marketing copies are posted on websites and blogs, these must be written for online audience.
That means you keep your paragraphs short and your sentences concise.
Express much in the fewest words possible.
Also, keep your article length between 250 to 500 words.
It's best if you use the inverted pyramid structure for your articles-place the most important and interesting information at the first paragraph.
You can use bullets, lists, and subheadings to make your article easier to read.
Once you're done with your article, create a resource box where you promote your product or website.
The resource box should include your name, the link of your website, a pitch of what you have to offer, and a call to action.
The call to action encourages the reader to go to your website to buy your product or sign up for a service.
