I'll be honest with you I really didn't get Facebook in the beginning.
I really couldn't see the attraction of using the social website personally.
As a matter fact I really didn't even like Facebook in the beginning.
I work as a computer guy for many companies are constantly being asked to disable Facebook access within the company.
Too many employees were spending too much time on Facebook when they're supposed be working.
Needless to say, in my mind Facebook was getting a bad rap.
My wife is also a Facebook junkie so I decided sit her down and ask her why she like Facebook so much? So over the course of several months I would watch what my wife was doing when she went to Facebook.
Funny enough the answer was simpler than I could ever believe.
It just allows her to keep in touch with those people she knows and loves.
She loves the fact that simply use, allows her to share pictures and also allows you to chat in real time when her other friends come online in Facebook.
Now I didn't get this in the beginning as I was looking for some highly technical reason that people would use Facebook.
It basically permits you to keep in touch with others using technology.
A little more like a telephone and a less like a telephone.
You can chat with other people and see what's happening in their lives without having to worry about holding a continuous conversation.
My wife person likes to use Facebook to keep track of your family that lives far overseas.
To her it permits her to feel like she's still a part of the day-to-day events within her family there.
And it's also allowed her to find members of her family and friends that she's lost contact with over the years.
Now I can truly see how you can have fun with Facebook.
