- 1). Gently lift the wiper arm away from the windshield in order to position it for easier access.
- 2). Squeeze the support rib at each end of the wiper blade and remove the worn wiper insert. You may need to peel the old rubber out of the wiper blade.
- 3). Install the new wiper insert by feeding the end without the locking mechanism in the channel. Remove any locking clips that may block the progress of the insertion process.
- 4). Stop feeding the new, rubber wiper blade in the channel when the locking end clicks into place.
- 5). Return the wiper arm to the rear window. Test the wiper by wetting the glass and turning the wiper activation knob to its lowest setting.
