- 1). Click "Start," "Control Panel," "Programs" and then "Programs and Features." Select the ActiveX components that you wish to uninstall one at a time. Click "Uninstall." Allow the process to complete, and restart your system.
- 2). Click "Start," "All Programs" and "Accessories." Right-click "Command Prompt." Select "Run as administrator."
- 3). Type the following command at the prompt, and press "Enter":
regsvr32 c:\activex.ocx /u
Substitute "c:\activex.ocx" with the file name of the ActiveX components.
