Why Lower Cholesterol Without Drugs

We all know that high cholesterol leads to serious diseases like heart attack and stroke; yet not all people are aware that they can lower cholesterol without drugs.
Most doctors would recommend prescription drugs like statin; and most patients wouldn't care to ask if there are other options.
And there are better options.
A statin drug is a conventional medication that has (serious) side effects like muscle pain, memory loss, and damage to the liver.
These are all good reason why you should avoid statins.
As an alternative, you can always turn to natural ways to lower cholesterol.
Not only is naturally lowering cholesterol safe and effective; generally it also improves your overall health.
To naturally lower your cholesterol, you have to follow three different methods.
First is to lower your cholesterol through diet.
Second is to exercise regularly.
And three is to take natural cholesterol lowering supplements.
In changing your diet, mostly you should avoid red meat and prefer plant products that have zero cholesterols.
You should try substituting healthier foods for your daily consumption, and then add cholesterol lowering foods to your menu.
You don't have to totally ban pork or chips from your system; just take them in moderation; eating them once a week will do.
To lower your cholesterol through physical activity, you must consistently exercise at least 30 minutes several times a week to burn your fats and LDL bad cholesterols.
This also increases your HDL or good cholesterols.
You don't have to spend hours in the gym; just do what you love such as sports, jogging, or dancing.
As additional means to lower your cholesterol a little faster, you can use natural supplements that don't only lower cholesterol; these supplements are also capable of reducing triglycerides, improving blood flow, along with other benefits.
Usually these dietary supplements are also inclusive of vitamins and nutrients that help the body fight against illnesses.
Yes, you can avoid the harsh side effects of statin drugs if you choose natural ways to lower your cholesterol.
Yet before taking any measures to lower your cholesterol naturally, you should first consult your doctor if there are some risks or discrepancies to your condition.
For instance, if you have hypercholesterolemia, or your body produces too much cholesterol besides the cholesterol foods you eat, then you may still need to take statin drugs to fully recover.
You can always lower your cholesterol without drugs, yet in some rare cases, you may still need to combine the use of conventional drugs with natural methods to achieve the full benefit of lowering your cholesterol and ultimately reach your goal of avoiding deadly diseases.
