- 1). Select the woman you wish to pick up and give her a few glances through the event. Watch in your peripheral vision to see if she responds to your glances. If she responds by looking back she's at least slightly interested, however if she scowls or doesn't respond at all, move on. Make sure the woman you select is with at least one more friend.
- 2). Decide on a question to ask that has to do with the event you're at. If it's a bar ask about the music, if it's a gala event ask about whatever it is the event is celebrating. This step is just to come up with your question and not to speak yet.
- 3). Walk over to the girl you've selected and start speaking to her friend. This is where the psychological aspect of this tutorial comes into play. After looking at her she will have the idea that you're interested in her, but when you speak to her friend it will create at the very least a small amount of jealousy in even the most mild of women.
- 4). Invite the girl you selected into the conversation and see what she talks about. If she speaks about something you spoke about with her friend, then you're in, she's trying to impress you.
- 5). Change your focus from the girl you were originally speaking to, to the one you selected in the first place. Psychologically (whether she's consciously aware of it or not) she will feel like her effort to impress you paid off. Invite her to go to lunch with you and she should say yes.
