Firefox 3 location bar
The location bar is one of the obvious improvements. It's now Smart. The autocomplete feature opens up with several choices related to what you're typing. Each autocomplete guess from Firefox contains a URL and page titles. - 2
Most Visited Menu
Firefox 3 remembers your browing habits. It keeps the most visited websites in a "Most Visited" list. This is handy if you return to the same sites on a daily basis--and, these most visited links can easily be turned into bookmarks. - 3
Firefox 3 tags
Firefox 3 keeps track of your most recently bookmarked items in a list called, appropriately, "Recently Bookmarked" in the Bookmarks menu. This is handy to know about because of another new Firefox 3 feature. Bookmarks can now be tagged. You can tag new bookmarks as you add them. - 4). You can tag your older bookmarks, as well, in the Organize Bookmarks window. Once you've tagged your bookmarks, you will see a Tags category in the Organize Bookmarks window. Expand the Tags list and see all your tags. Clicking on any of your tags will filter out only the bookmarks with that tag.

Firefox 3 Add-ons dialog
In the Tools menu, you find Add-ons. The add-ons window is easy to us. It suggests new add-ons and explains what they do. There's a handy link to more add-ons, or if you are looking for a specific one, there's a search box. - 6). Firefox checks sites against the list of Google's blacklisted phishing sites. You get an instant warning if you try to launch one of those phoney bank or PayPal sites that try to scam you out of your account information.
- 7). If you crash or experience interruption of service during a big download, the new Firefox download manager can resume the download.
- 8). Firefox 3 remembers your passwords. A big improvement in the way it works is that it doesn't ask you if you want it to remember a password until after you've signed in with a working password.
- 9). If you need to zoom in to read small type on web pages, Firefox 3 has full zoom. This means that images and all of the other elements on a page expand equally to retain a page's layout and appearance, while still enlarging the text.

Another important improvement in Firefox 3 is speed. It's faster than the older version.
