- 1). Turn off the engine of the Blazer.
- 2). Remove the cover of the instrument panel fuse-block by rotating the plastic fastener on the cover to the left. Replacement fuses and the fuse extractor tool are located on the underside of the cover.
- 3). Use the fuse extractor to remove the fuse in slot 4. This is the instrument cluster fuse.
- 4). Install a replacement 15A fuse and reattach the cover to the instrument panel fuse-block.
- 1). Open the hood of the Blazer and, using a socket wrench, remove the negative battery cable.
- 2). Remove the two screws on the underside of the upper dash panel above the instrument cluster. Remove the upper dash panel.
- 3). Remove the two bolts securing the instrument cluster to the Blazer. Slide the cluster towards you and reach behind it to disconnect its electrical-connectors. Pull the cluster out of the vehicle.
- 4). Place the replacement cluster into the Blazer and reconnect the electrical-connectors. Reinstall the bolts and reattach the upper dash panel. Reconnect the battery.
