- Each pet has its own abilities.00 pet image by alfpok from Fotolia.com
The ability to own pets is one of the hallmarks of "Dragon Oath." You can either participate in pet training classes and be awarded a pet upon completion, or you can capture a pet on Pet Island or Pet Hill. Pet island features 60 different pets, and each pet has different abilities and skills. Some pets are referred to as rare pets, and they tend to have better abilities, though they have to be captured, which can be difficult. Two easy ways to get a strong pet is to use a pet trainer or to breed your pets with other pets to create a more powerful creature. This is where the baby pet scroll comes into play. - You have the option to breed your pets with other players' pets to try to create a more powerful creature, commonly known as a second-generation pet. This requires one female young pet and one male young pet that have reached at least Level 30. Both players must return to the breeding area to pick up the new pet and the baby pet they used for breeding. The higher the level of the pet, the longer the breeding process will take. You will receive notice when the new pet is ready via the game's mail system.

To use the baby pet scroll, go to the Su Zhou section and speak with the non-player character (NPC) Si Si White. The NPC will give you an option to select the breed. Select "Rejuvenate" to start the process of transforming your grown pet into a baby pet. Drag the baby pet scroll into a box on your display, and choose the pet you want to convert into a baby pet for breeding. The greater the pet's level, the more silver or gold it will cost to use the scroll.
