- 1). Prepare your table setting with everything you need to make a bow. When you need something, you will only have to lift a finger and not leave your work area.
- 2). Take your ribbon and make one loop with ribbon leaving a tail off to the side. By the time you finish your bow, you will have a second ribbon tail.
- 3). Continue making these loops, going side to side with your loop. Make one loop to the left, then one loop to the right. Alternate.
- 4). Increase loops to make the bow bigger to the size needed.
- 5). Make sure you have a two ribbon tails at the size and length needed.
- 6). Secure the bow with bow tie wiring.
- 7). Take the bow loops and fan them out, making them slightly bigger in size.
- 8). Rearrange the loops to increase the size of the bow. You can do this by gently pulling loops higher and lower to make a larger bow.
- 9). Cut the two ribbon tails, making them to the same size. Now trim the edges at an angle. Depending on the height of the church pew, the size of the ribbon tails might need to be shorter.
- 10
Take church pew bows and place at pew, ensuring the ribbon isn't too small or too large. - 11
Make changes to bows, according to church pew. - 12
Now take church bow clasps and attach the bow to the clasp. Now attach to the pew. Use extra bow wiring as needed. - 13
Repeat these steps if you are making more than one bow. Use the first bow as your example to follow, making sure the lengths are the same for each bow.
