- 1). Dilute a small amount of orange juice in a bowl with about 1/4 as much water as you use orange juice. Stir the orange juice and water mixture thoroughly with a spoon.
- 2). Dip a cotton swab into the diluted orange juice, and use the liquid to write a message onto a sheet of white paper. Allow the diluted orange juice to dry. Since the orange juice is diluted, it should be invisible on the paper once it dries.
- 3). Paint over the invisible message with a very thin layer of iodine. Allow the iodine to dry; after about five minutes of waiting, your hidden message will appear from beneath the iodine in white.
