Many people sign up for Twitter-Accounts, and yet even though millions of people have, over 60% of the people who sign up never send out one single tweet.
That is really interesting, that means millions of people are following other people's tweets, but do not feel the need to send out their own.
Why is this? Is it because many people feel insignificant, have low self-esteem, or feel their life and their various hobbies and endeavors are unimportant? Do they feel that in their business life they are under achieved, or that their observations are of no value to anyone? This is rather interesting especially considering how many younger people want to be noticed so badly.
But how do you know if you will be successful on this social networking vehicle? Not long ago, someone told me; "I want to follow you on twitter.
" Unfortunately, I am not on twitter nor do I care to be, I am not interested in what anyone else thinks about what I am doing and many of the things I want to say are more than 140 characters.
Another issue is I do not believe that all the teenagers and teenyboppers on twitter are folks that I care to associate with in my innovative thought processes.
It's not that I find them insignificant, it's that I am not interested in what Paris Hilton's dog had for breakfast, or who is the coolest on American Idol.
Now, there are many superstars of innovation that using this vehicle online and they have a large following, and yet, I suppose many of the people that follow them just sign up and therefore, they have a whole bunch of followers who they don't know and are people they've never care to associate with in the real world.
This causes a rather large dilemma but, if you want to follow me, you're out of luck.
Please consider all this.
