- 1). Insert the Action Replay DS device into your console and power on the system. Tap "Update"on the touch screen of your DS.
- 2). Connect the Action Replay DS to a USB port on your computer using the supplied USB connector cable. Insert the installation disc into your computer. The installation menu will appear.
- 3). Select "Next" to begin installation. Click "Next" again when asked where the Action Replay Code Manager should be installed. Continue through the installation process until you reach the "Installing" screen.
- 4). Wait for the Action Replay Code Manager to complete its installation. Click the box marked "Launch Action Replay Code Manager" and press "Finish."
- 5). Click the DS cartridge icon in the top-left corner of the Manager. Confirm the download of updated software. Do this each time you open the Manager to keep up to date on the newest codes.
- 6). Power off your Nintendo DS when complete.
- 1). Insert your DS game cartridge into the Action Replay DS device. The cartridge is inserted into the top of the device, facing up.
- 2). Plug the Action Replay device into the cartridge slot on the top of your Nintendo DS so that the DS cartridge you previously inserted is facing you.
- 3). Power on your Nintendo DS. You will be taken to the Action Replay menu. Tap the green star on the bottom left of the touch screen.
- 4). Cycle through the available codes on the top of the screen. You can use the arrows on the touch screen or the directional pad to move up and down the list. Press "A" or tap the green star to enable the code that you've highlighted on the top screen. Enable as many codes for the game as you would like.
- 5). Tap "Start" to begin the game. All your selected codes will be in effect.
