Go Green With Fresh Christmas Wreaths

Christmas wreaths are once again gaining high demand as the Yuletide season is almost here.
Most of us might still be contemplating whether to buy fresh Christmas wreaths or just the artificial wreaths.
Well, if you are concerned with the ongoing problems in our environment, you should use fresh wreaths.
Unlike artificial wreaths that are usually made of plastic and other non-renewable resources, fresh Christmas wreaths are made of natural leaves, flowers, and twigs.
So we are rest assured that they did not undergo in any commercial processes that might have a negative effect in the environment.
If you think that fresh holiday wreaths also damage our natural resources by cutting down trees, well it is not entirely true.
Manufacturers indeed cut some of our natural resources but not the whole tree.
They only trim the tip of the branches in making fresh wreaths which are actually good in promoting the growth of the trees.
Thus, they are beneficial to the environment.
On the other hand, artificial wreaths are non-biodegradable and as we all know, these materials can harm Mother nature which will lead to global warming.
The process of manufacturing artificial wreaths may require the use of petroleum-based equipments or machines that are not friendly to the environment.
It usually burns fossil fuels that add carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which is opposed to fresh wreaths that release oxygen into the air and take out carbon dioxide.
After using the fresh holiday wreaths, they can still be recycled.
Just remove the fir or pine from the rings of the wreath and use them as an aromatic potpourri.
Some free recycling program can also be applied wherein greens are being used for mulch which are beneficial to Mother nature.
You may now be having a dilemma on what kind of wreaths to decorate your home.
Well, you should weigh the pros and cons first before you buy or create one.
This may be just a simple matter but it can have a huge impact to the environment and the society as well.
