World Championships Skiing:

At the 2013 FIS World Ski Championships in Schladming, Austria, Mario Matt was 3rd in Slalom for the bronze medal and in 2011 at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, Matt was 4th in the Slalom.

At the 2009 World Championships at Val d'Isere, France, he was DNF1 in Slalom and at Are, Sweden in 2007, Matt was 1st in the Slalom for the gold medal and 11th in the Super Combined.

In 2005 in Bormio, Italy, Matt finished 11th in the Combined and DNF1 in Slalom and at St. Moritz in 2003, he was DNF in Slalom and at St. Anton in 2001, Mario Matt was 1st in Slalom for a gold medal and 2nd in Combined for a silver medal.
