MMA Training Ground Game - Back to Basics

Mixed martial arts or MMA as it is now more commonly know is now officially the fastest growing sport in the world.
It seems that almost every single country has allow the sport of MMA to pass through it doors with only a few notable exceptions such as France and Finland.
Saying this there are still some states in the United States of America that have not allowed MMA events to be made legal but while the potential for but money is there more and more states are opening up to acknowledge MMA as a legitimate sport.
The sport of MMA has struggled to get rid of it's reputation of being a blood sport that condones mindless violence which breaks the taboo and unspoken word of never hitting someone on the ground in a fight.
In the early Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fights the events were billed as being no holds barred blood fests where the only rule was that there were no rules and injuries were very common.
Notable injuries from the very first UFC were 1 broken arm, 1 broken ankles and broken teeth in 3 separate fights.
No fighters were doing MMA training ground game apart from the victor Royce Gracie.
Since the ZUFFA corporation bought the UFC it has fought to overcome these prejudices of the sport being human cock fighting and they have managed to change the public opinion of the sport and bring it to main stream audiences across the globe.
The UFC now rivals many major boxing events on the pay per view nembers.
Since the UFC puts on about 10 events every year the money just keeps coming in and the sport continues to grow.
MMA Training Ground Game The MMA training ground game is probably the most famous of all the styles of fights used in the sport.
Made famous by Royce Gracie when he defeated a number of separate opponents in a single night to take the UFC 1 title all by submissions.
But it wasn't the fact that he won the tournament that shocked everyone it was that he gave up such a noticeable weight advantage to all his opponents.
Royce was much lighter than all of his opponents but still managed to defeat them by using his technique of brazilian jiu jitsu which is a martial art derived from the japanese art of jiu jitsu by Royce's father Helio Gracie.
