The Youth Music Theatre Scotland (that is abbreviated as YMTS) is going to be working with local youngsters for a couple of weeks in Dunfermline and give them some valuable tutoring and also coach them prior to putting them on the performances of the musical at the venue of the Alhambra Theatre.
These summers in the school holidays several of you may be starting something big if you are taking part. The YMTS has promised that it is going to be a one hell of an experience for the youngsters who are going to be taking part on the Billy Youth Theatre.
Together both Alhambra and the YMTS have joined up with the Press on order to offer around five places that are going to be up for grabs in the current week's great competition. The respective project is open for youngsters who fall in the age group of nine to nineteen years old and is going to run from the 17th of July to the 31st of July. Janet Robertson who is the founder of the YMTS has been reported as having said that she is much delighted about having brought Billy's story to the heart of central Scotland and it has all been possible because of her hard working team. The story has been set in the North East of England during the 1984/85 era when there had been an ongoing miners' strike. Billy pursues his passion for dancing in spite of the disapproval of his struggling family, but does so in secret so that his family does not find out.
