- 1). Reset the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter on the front of the unit between the filter and heating timers. Press the reset button. Stop using the spa if the GFCI is frequently tripped.
- 2). Plug the cord securely into the outlet if you have a cord connected unit. Test the outlet by plugging in a working appliance. Call an electrician if the outlet is non-functioning.
- 3). Examine your home's circuit breaker and fuse box. Reset the circuit breaker and replace any damaged fuses.
- 1). Rotate the thermostat clockwise to increase the temperature. Avoid letting the water reach temperatures above 104 degrees F.
- 2). Press the red button on the high-limit switch inside the heater's assembly to reset it. Call an electrician if the high-limit switch trips frequently.
- 3). Examine the valves in the spa. Turn the valves so that they are facing forward to increase pressure and cause the heat to turn on. Remove any obstructions from the valves.
- 4). Clean or replace the filter cartridge. Remove the filter from the pump and rinse it in clean water. Soak it in a commercial filter cleaning solution. Replace the filter if it is worn or does not improve with cleaning.
- 5). Put the thermal cover on the spa when it is not in use.
- 1). Add water to the spa. Fill the spa until the water level is above the highest jet.
- 2). Turn all valves so that they are facing forward and open. Wait a few minutes for water flow to improve.
- 3). Clean or replace the filter cartridge.
