Be Prepared! The Ultimate Checklist For Your Chocolate Labrador Puppy

Before you go out and pick up your adorable best bud, there are a few things you need for your Chocolate Labrador puppy.
Here is a list of things that you will need for your new Lab puppy.
- A Crate - A Buckle Collar.
A variety of collars are available, find one that fits your Chocolate Labrador puppy, while not being too tight.
- Puppy Food.
Your Chocolate Labrador puppy's diet is obviously vital for his health, so be sure to select a high quality dog food.
Most pet shops offer free samples, so see what the little guy likes! - Doggie Treats - Necessary for training, there are tons of flavors and types of treats, so test them out to see what your Chocolate Labrador puppy likes.
- Food and Water Bowls (stainless steel is best) For your puppy, a small bowl, as he grows, so should the size of the bowls.
- A Nylon Lead Leash.
Nylon is so that your Chocolate Labrador puppy does not chew on it, and six feet is usually a good size for puppies.
- Puppy toys.
Make sure these are fun and safe, if you can, bring your pup along and see which toys they like best.
You will need to teach your pup that the toys are his, and the furniture is yours! - Bedding.
Should be comfy, but expect it to get ruined, so nothing fancy.
- An I.
D tag.
Microchips are also a good option, available at your local vet.
- A Grooming Brush for your Chocolate Lab puppy.
You will be using this pretty often! - Poop Scooper and bags.
You can figure out what you will be needing these for! - Toothbrush.
Your Chocolate Labrador puppy will resist this at first, but better get in the habit early on, it makes quite a difference! Optional: - Baby Wipes - Great for cleaning up - Many veterinarians recommend you insure your Chocolate Labrador puppy.
This is really up to you, but it's an option worth looking into.
- A camera.
Preferably a video camera, to capture all the magical moments
