- Previcox is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug, first manufactured by the Merial company in 2005. Previcox is a prescription-only medication.

- Previcox is available in chewable tablets that should be given to the dog once a day, with or without food. If an overdose occurs, the dog can become nauseous and lethargic, and may have difficulty breathing.
- Previcox can have adverse reactions if given in conjunction with other NSAIDs, steroids, cough or allergy medications.
- Previcox can cause abdominal pain, tarry stools, blood in vomit, lethargy, skin rash and possible allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face and hives.
