You do not want to get confused with a spam account or someone who is a spammer.
This is why you need to make sure you maintain a healthy Twitter "Following to Follower" Buffer.
Is Your Twitter Buffer is Too Great? The first checkpoint on Twitter is the 2,000 Following mark.
As of the writing of this article, there is also another 10,000 Following checkpoint.
If you find yourself Following 2,000 and you only have 1,000 people Following you, your Twitter Buffer is too big.
You need to narrow the gap back down to close to zero.
