I'm sure you've seen in gold guides, blogs, and forums all over that if you really want to make some gold playing World of Warcraft you need to get serious about playing the Auction House.
That statement couldn't be more true.
But when I started playing the AH, it soon became very obvious that I had no idea what I should buy for cheap and list for more.
I tried a few items, and with some luck I began catching on, and adding more items to my list of what to search for.
Now I do a few searches and can make a few hundred gold in about 15 minutes, then I rush off to do a few battlegrounds before coming back and doing it again.
Do you want to make a lot of gold with little effort? I'm sure you do, but let me be the first to tell you that if you want to make gold it's going to take a little bit of time.
But it doesn't have to take a lot of time! Download an addon called Auctionator.
It will allow you to set up several shopping lists.
Then when you're ready to play the auction house, it's as simple as opening up the auction house buy tab, and one clicking the product you're looking for.
Then Auctionator will show you what's listed.
It's as easy as buying up the cheap undercut items, and re-listing them back on the auction house for a fast profit.
You can buy in bulk and stock items to sell later, as well as re-list them right away.
It's always best to know your economy before making a lot of large purchases, and another addon called Auctioneer can help with this.
Although for me, keeping track of prices on a pad of paper, and searching for them each day works better for me.
