Apple

• 1). Refer to the LEGO Brick Apple picture instructions (see Resources 1).
  
  
• 2). Snap a 4-by-4 red LEGO block onto the LEGO mat, then add four 2-by-2 pieces to its top as depicted.
  
  
• 3). Cover the exposed sides with corner, "V"-shaped LEGOs. Add two solid block LEGOs to the top.
  
  
• 4). Add the larger corner and 2-by-2 LEGO pieces as shown in steps 5 and 6 (see Resources 1).
  
  
• 5). Add four 2-by-2 square bricks to the corners, then snap 1-by-6 LEGOs to their tops, as seen in steps 7 and 8.
  
  
• 6). Repeat the layering process until your LEGO model resembles an apple, as depicted in step 21.
  
  

The Core

• 1). Place two 1-by-4 LEGOs on the horizontal sides of a 6-by-4 piece.
  
  
• 2). Add three 1-by-1 brown LEGOs to its center, as shown in step 4.
  
  
• 3). Surround the brown pieces by a series of slanted red LEGOs, then add four yellow slanted LEGOs to the top as shown in step 10.
  
  
• 4). Stack the brown and yellow 1-by-1 pieces in alternate patterns until you have 5 stories.
  
  
• 5). Flip the apple core right-side up and attach the green stem at its center.
  
  
• 6). Snap the apple core into the apple frame created in section 1.
