Gameplay

• Mario explores an all-new island location full of challenges to complete. Special items called "shines" are scattered around the island (similar to stars in "Super Mario 64"), and by collecting as many as possible, Mario can clean up the island and prove his innocence.

• Mario journeys through a beautiful tropical paradise, complete with beaches, mountains, quaint villages and an amusement park.
  
  

Graphics

• The game supports progressive scan 480p for extra-sharp graphics. Enjoy detailed water effects, vibrant environments and beautifully animated characters.
  
  

Gadgets

• Use Mario's new FLUDD water cannon and its attachments to explore like never before. With the cannon, Mario can glide to new heights, fend off foes and clean up the graffiti covering the island.
  
  

Friends

• Yoshi, Mario's dinosaur pal, is back to offer a bit of assistance on his journey. Feed Yoshi different fruits, and he'll help by swallowing enemies and solving puzzles. The Mushroom Kingdom's Toads are along for the ride, too, with plenty of advice to offer during Mario's adventure.
