Discover How to Get Clear Skin Now!

You might disagree, but hear me out on this.
If you want to learn how to get clear skin, you need to learn what causes pimples and blackheads.
You might be surprised.
The cause of acne is not well understood.
There seem to be many different causes.
Sometimes the condition is blamed on heredity, because it seems to run in families.
Hormonal activity is also believed to be a factor.
But, the causes of pimple formation and other blemishes are pretty well understood.
Deep within the pores of the skin are glands, known as the sebaceous glands.
Normally, they produce a lubricant known as sebum, which nourishes and protects the skin's cells from damage.
The cells lining the interior of the pores are composed of a protein called keratin.
They slough off and are replaced on a regular basis.
Normally, sebum carries the dead cells to the skin's surface where you can wash them off.
A blackhead forms when the cells don't make it all the way to the surface and becomes oxidized.
A pimple forms when the pore becomes clogged, either by dead skin cells, old oils, and dirt or because of the use of pore-clogging skincare ingredients.
Those are known as comedogenic ingredients.
One aspect of how to get clear skin is to use only non-comedogenic skincare products.
The ingredients to avoid include petrolatum, paraffin and mineral oil.
Many concealers contain paraffin.
Most makeup contains mineral oil.
Petrolatum is found in lotion, shampoo, soap and body wash, as well as shaving cream.
When the pores become clogged, bacteria cause a slight infection, which is why you see pus and why some dermatologists prescribe antibiotics for acne.
There are natural ingredients that have antibacterial activity and another part of how to get clear skin is to use cleansers that contain them.
Active manuka honey, tea tree oil and witch hazel are some of the natural compounds that have antibacterial activity.
To prevent the formation of blackheads, you want to use a cream that contains antioxidants.
Manuka honey enzymes have antioxidant activity, as do coenzyme Q10, a vitamin-like substance and natural vitamin E.
Some of the better moisturizers on the market contain all of these ingredients, in a form that is readily absorbed by the skin's cells.
The regular use of antioxidant-rich creams is also beneficial for delaying wrinkles, sagging and other signs of age.
They fight free radical damage, triggered by exposure to UV rays from the sun and pollution.
So, they are an important part of how to get clear skin and how to look more youthful, throughout your life.
Right now, you might think that excess oils are your problem, but if you use harsh cleansers that strip those natural oils, you'll cause problems for yourself in the future and you won't reduce the number of blemishes that you have.
So there you have it.
Mild natural antibacterial cleansers followed by natural antioxidant-rich creams are the keys to how to get clear skin Diet is also a factor, but that's a subject for another article.
