Internet Marketing: Is Your Blog Bringing In Business?

The key to a successful blog that bring in business is writing a topic that you're passionate about. After all, this is your niche subject matter and it will concern that of your product or services that you are selling.

But how do you write a topic continuously that you are passionate about?

The truth is that if you have no interest in the topic you are writing about you wouldn't be able to deliver the insight and inspiration across for long. Some business blog are written to suit the product or services they are selling or whom they are affiliates to, in which they have no interest in them except hoping to attract customers.

To be able to show your passion, your writing must draw from your own experience and research on the topic. You can start writing broad and wide so that you are able to attract a wider audience and start writing straight away. Writing broad means that you can discuss in general on your topic that you have interest in before you narrow down to a specific niche topic which may be your product or services that you are promoting.

But how do you have a blog that would bring in business?

Besides providing free information to your visitors you do have to ensure that you can turn them into buying customers.

That's why you have to write continuously in your niche topic that your audience is interested in order to draw in the people who really have vested interest in what you are writing. These people wouldn't have gone to your website again and again if your blog do not give them what they are looking for.

You may find that there are lots of competitors out there which are of the similar niche that you are also writing about. Instead of competing with them why not position yourself differently? Though all of you might be talking about the same thing but you are putting it differently in your own voice and style.

Writing in your own unique voice is your creative tool because your voice is your brand and nobody can take it away or copy you. In your brand you'd want your prospect to find your posts consistent in style and content. Whether you're writing in a humorous manner or in an editorial format, consistency will helped people to identify with you and they know it's from you whenever they read it. Even though they are reading a different post they'd have the same feeling like they are reading from their same author of their favourite novel.

If they like the way you present your ideas and it is worth their time reading it they will come back time and again and they might even subscribe to your feed. A loyal reader who has not enough of you would even opt-in to your mailing list.

Remember do not sell in your blog but instead bring them to your "squeeze" page. Convince them to opt-in and let your email marketing campaign to bring them to your sales page where you have more time and space to explain on your offer. Your blog is acting as a first point of contact of your business' front just as you would like to attract your customer to enter your store first before you can even sell to them.

Find your voice today. Your voice is your brand. Sell your brand to bring in business.
