Game consoles are becoming an integral part of a household.
It is now more than just a game console to play war games or other interactive games.
The Wii, PlayStation, Xbox, etc.
have elevated the quality of the usage of their console (which includes the price of the unit).
The Wii is the least expensive of all those units.
After a few weeks trying the Wii Active 2 Personal Trainer, here are some personal thoughts about it.
Currently, I use the unit about 2-3 times a week along with my other fitness program (treadmills, bodyweight exercises, etc.
).
If you are in a good physical condition, I would highly recommend that you use the feature to generate your trainer created workout (this is a new feature in the Active 2 Personal Trainer) with the settings about 20 minutes and the mode to be difficult.
You want to get a great workout.
The easy mode will be too easy for most people.
One drawback will be the small sensor that comes with the Wii unit.
It is best to upgrade to a larger sensor which cost about $20 or so.
There are more positives than negatives.
The Wii does not cost as much.
It can also monitor your progress.
My wife and I use our Wii unit as a supplement to our other workouts.
The Wii Active 2 Personal Trainer has two monitors (one for your arm and one for your leg) that works well.
The arm monitor tracks your heart rate, etc.
Working out at home is the best place to save both money and time.
With the Wii Active 2 Personal Trainer, you can supplement your home workouts to reach your fitness goals.
