How to Determine When You Are Having Panic Anxiety Attacks

Surely, you know how it feels like when anxiety sets.
It occurs for varied reasons at a different times and places.
Well you should know that it is normal to feel tense or get worried especially if under a tremendous pressure or when faced with a difficult problem or under a lot of stress.
Anxiety is felt when the body feels threatened over some situations.
Indeed it is unpleasant, yet not necessarily an overly bad thing.
On the lighter note, anxiety keeps you stay focused and alert.
It keeps you on guard and keeps you motivated to take the initiative to resolve issues.
However, when anxiety takes place on a different level, such that it is too overwhelming and constant, and interferes with your personal growth and relationships, then it is already a disorder.
Once your fears and worries crossed the line from normal anxiety to being self-destructive, it is about time you give attention and proper solution to it.
But first, you have to know the symptoms of an anxiety attack so you will be readily aware when it's coming.
Anxiety disorders are part of a group with related conditions instead of being a single disorder.
And so, each attack varies depending on each individual.
One person can suffer from a really intense panic anxiety attack which may occur without any warning, while other person may feel panicky by the mere thought of joining a party.
But even with their dissimilar forms, anxiety attacks have one common symptom.
That is severe worry or fear over situations which are deemed as unthreatening to most people.
Apart from those mentioned, other signs of anxiety include feelings of dread or apprehension, feeling jumpy and tense, cannot concentrate, irritability, anticipating worst scenarios, restlessness, and always on the lookout for any danger.
Along with these are the physical symptoms as well, such as sweating, pounding heart, headaches, dizziness, upset stomach, frequent urination, out of breath, twitches and tremors, fatigue, muscle tension, and insomnia.
Moreover, panic anxiety attacks are best characterized by intense fear or intense panic.
Sometimes, an attack is provoked by particular incidents like being stuck in the elevator or upon remembering an upcoming big speech.
And in other instances, these attacks just happen out of nowhere.
Usually, a panic anxiety attack peaks within the first ten minutes and rarely extends beyond 30 minutes.
But during this short span of time, the fear or terror is overwhelming to the point of losing control or the person experiencing such attack will feel like dying.
Due to the very frightening symptoms, people experiencing anxiety attacks seem to believe they have heart attack.
Signs and symptoms of a panic anxiety attack are overwhelming panic, chest pain, heart palpitations, choking sensation, feeling of going crazy, hyperventilation, chills or hot flashes, stomach cramps, nausea, trembling, and feeling detached.
The first panic anxiety attack experience can be unnerving.
And you are likely to be clueless of what is happening.
You may just be aware of your pounding heart and will feel like being choked.
You know, anxiety is very normal.
It occurs in most individuals as carried forth by stress.
But when you say of panic anxiety attacks, well, they are different.
These attacks take place when the human mind regards a harmless circumstance as dangerous.
Anxiety disorders are commonly caused by divorce, losing a job, and death, as well as major changes in life such as getting married, becoming a parent, college and new job.
