Richard Franklin, Vice-President of Technology of Clean The Uniform Company, was named a Top Small Business Executive by St. Louis Small Business Monthly magazine. He was among several small business executives honored in a special section in the magazine's August, 2009 edition.
Franklin was recognized for his 19 years with Clean The Uniform Company helping to lead the firm's innovative use of technology. He was originally hired as an in-house software programmer when the company ran on just one IBM minicomputer. He worked his way up by repeatedly finding ways to customize technology solutions to fit CLEAN'S growing needs. Thanks to his efforts CLEAN is now on the cutting edge in the uniform industry with such innovations as customized Route Accounting Software.
Franklin told Small Business Monthly his dedication to work has been possible because of CLEAN'S culture. "One of the things that has driven me is I feel like I am part of a family here.
