- 1). Play through "Oblivion" until you are at least level 10. Approach the shrine near Leyawiin, marked on your in-game map. The shrine tells you to return with the Eye of Nocturnal, which thieves stole earlier.
- 2). Enter Leyawiin and speak to random residents about the local thieves. The first few people may not have information, but a few people will know exactly where the thieves have been hiding. This conversation marks the location on your map.
- 3). Head to the newly marked location where two Argonians are standing. Speak to either one of them to move the quest along. Though they won't say anything to you directly, you must speak to them before they start talking to each other about the stolen eye.
- 4). Hide in a nearby location and eavesdrop on the conversation. Eventually, one of the Argonians will reveal the band of thieves have hidden the eye within Tidewater Cave. Hearing this marks it on your in-game map. Travel to the mark and enter the cave.
- 5). Turn left at the first intersection you come across, defeating all enemies in your path. Numerous trolls populate the cave, and they can be a tough fight at level 10. Turn left when your path runs dead, and then turn left once more. Retrieve the eye, which is located underwater but glowing.
- 6). Return to the shrine with the eye in hand. The shrine will accept the eye and give you the skeleton key.
