- 1). Create calm in your bedroom by painting walls with colors associated with nature. Opt for paint in sky blue, cool grays, shades of green, or camel brown.
- 2). Paint each wall a separate color if you want a multicolored look. For example, fuchsia, black, and white makes a gorgeous color scheme for a contemporary bedroom. Or another color scheme to try is yellow, black, and gray.
- 3). Paint one wall with a bold hue and use a light color on the other walls. A yellow or sapphire wall looks great and stands out when you paint the rest of the walls in a neutral color such as tan or white.
