- 1). Check the fuses or circuit breakers that supply the oven, if it won't operate at all. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker and try again.
- 2). Check to ensure the gas supply to the cooktop is open, if the eyes won't light.
- 3). Check the oven control pad to ensure you haven't initiated the delay start feature, if the oven won't turn on. Watch for the word "Delay" in the display window, and press the "Off" pad to cancel if you see it there.
- 4). Place a level on the top of the oven to see if it’s level, if your baking or roasting results aren’t what you’d hoped. Adjust the legs on the bottom to level the oven if necessary.
- 5). Lower the oven temperature 15 to 25 degrees Fahrenheit from the temperatures suggested in your recipe if your baked goods seem overly brown on the bottom. Also, try moving the oven racks up one notch so the heat on the bottom is less intense.
