- 1). Open Firefox 3 and select "Bookmarks" in the menu bar. Click on "Organize Bookmarks."
- 2). In the bookmarks window, select "Import and Backup." This may be an icon, depending on your Firefox theme. In the default theme, it is a star with arrows on it. Click "Export HTML ..."
- 3). Save the bookmarks file somewhere that you will remember it, such as your desktop, and give it a distinctive name.
- 4). Open Firefox 2, and select "Bookmarks" from the menu bar. Click "Organize (or Manage) Bookmarks," then "File," "Import" and "From File."
- 5). A dialogue box will appear prompting you to select the bookmarks to import. Locate the HTML file that you saved from Firefox 3, and select it. All of your Firefox 3 bookmarks will be imported into Firefox 2.
