Pitch speaking is a fantastic way to improve your singing.
It will improve your public speaking and logically your interaction with other people.
You willnot be a monotone or one note speaker!In Singing, the notes are already there.
So is there a contradiction?No, pitch speaking will improve the tone of the voice and the perception of where it comes from.
Here is a simplified explanation of pitch speaking.
You speak in pitch what you would normally sing.
It is exactly the same dynamic as humming only you speak the words in pitch.
Singers, public speakers and anyone who just wants to have an interesting and pleasant voice can do this.
Here is an important side point.
If you are a singer, just add this discipline to the others you already do and know.
The relationship between the vocal cords and pitch speaking is basic and fundamental.
