Dealing With Diabetes Type 1

Diabetes type 1 is not popular as type 2 diabetes.
But the affect of this disease to human life is also severe so you need to give it the same amount of attention.
As we know that diabetes type 1 happens because the pancreas is unable to produce insulin.
Insulin is a kind of hormone that convert glucose into energy.
Excess glucose is excreted out of the body through the urinary system because the lack of insulin.
People with this type may experience early symptoms like excessive urination, excessive thirst, dehydration, dry mouth, weight loss and fatigue.
But these symptoms may different each person.
Small number of people also reports nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, blurred vision, breathing problems, frequent skin infections, and vaginal infections.
Research can not reveals the clear cause of diabetes type 1 but genetics and environmental factors are believed related to this disease.
People with type 1 diabetes should schedule for insulin injections to control the problem.
The type of insulin is different each other depending on the response of your body to insulin, your lifestyle, your schedule to do the injections and monitor your blood sugar level, and your age.
Insulin may act fast or more slowly to each person.
It is often recommended of diabetics to use a blood sugar monitoring device since this treatment need regular taking of insulin injections and check their blood sugar levels.
Diabetes type 1 can cause fatal damage like retinopathy, kidney damage, and diabetic ketoacidosis if uncontrolled.
So beware if your body shown signs of diabetes.
Controlling diabetes can be achieved not only by regular treatment like insulin injections, but also eating the right foods and engaging in regular exercises.
Healthy lifestyle is an absolute must for diabetes patients.
A consistent schedule for eating, physical activity, monitoring, and medication are very important.
