Kasbour, also spelled kosbour or qesbor, is the the Moroccan Arabic word for coriander (cilantro). Kasbour is similar to the standard Arabic word for coriander: kazbora – ?????.
Generous quantities of fresh kasbour leaves are used together or interchangeably with parsley (maadnous) in Moroccan tagines, soups and other dishes. Coriander seeds are also sometime used.
