Golden doodles make for terrific family dogs. Not only are they friendly, they are also very obedient, intelligent, easy to train, affectionate, and genuinely want to please their owners. Golden doodles have a special love of learning. Any dog with a love of learning has a higher percentage of being easier to train than breeds that don't. Golden doodles require a moderate amount of exercise. That said, they can live happily in a city environment or in the country. Golden doodles require grooming every few weeks. Their coat usually takes after either the poodle in them or the golden, but they typically don't need much more than a brushing. Depending on your taste you could have them groomed regularly, which could be multiple times a year, or you could take care of it yourself when you felt like it.
