- 1). Measure around the body of the koozie. Measure a rectangular piece of fabric to match this length, then add 1 inch to allow for seams. This piece fits around the outside of the koozie. Cut this piece out with scissors.
- 2). Wrap the fabric around the koozie to make sure it's the correct length. Remove the fabric, turn it inside out, and hem the longer sides together with a needle and thread. Insert the koozie back into the fabric.
- 3). Measure two lengths of ribbon to go around the top and bottom of the koozie. The ribbon overlaps with the fabric, hiding the edges of the fabric. Cut out and hot glue the ribbons to the fabric. The fabric is secured to the koozie.
- 4). Position the laminated photograph on the koozie. Hot glue the photo to the koozie in the desired position. Press the photo to the koozie for 60 seconds, then let it dry completely for about 10 minutes.
- 5). Decoupage the photo and fabric to the koozie. Paint a thin layer of decoupage medium over the entire outside surface of the koozie, and let the first layer dry. Paint a second layer if desired.
