- 1). Download a custom font from one of several free sites. Those sites include 1001FreeFonts.com, UrbanFonts.com, and DaFont.com.
- 2). Double-click the font download you want. Select the "Save" action in the pop-up window.
- 3). Store the font download file on the desktop screen by clicking the "Desktop" tab in the left pane of the Explorer window. Click the "Save" button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- 4). Locate the font file's new icon on the desktop screen, and right-click over it. Select the "Install" action in the pop-up menu.
- 5). Click the Adobe Photoshop desktop icon to open the program. When Photoshop opens, it will be updated with the imported font.
